THE FALL || Middle earth Shadow of War || Gameplay/Walkthrough (part 9) ACT-1 Minas Ithil SECOND/ 2ND mission GONDOR Quests The Fall t's important to note that this is the last mission in Act 1 - and once completed, you won't be able to return to this region, or Cirith Ungol, until you complete all of the main quests in the upcoming region. Rewards: 5405 XP, 425 Mirian Bonus Objective: 300 Mirian You should take the time to do some side quests, and find all the collectibles in these first two regions before you proceed. At the start, you’ll have to fend off groups of enemies until more reinforcements arrive in the area. This can get hectic as more and more Orcs will constantly appear through the broken gates to try and overwhelm you.Bonus Objective: Reach a Hitstreak of 20 - This side objective can be hard to achieve while trying not to get yourself killed, so try focusing on defense, countering incoming attacks, and stunning or keeping away from Ologs - or Drakes.Eventually, a Drake will appear in the skies above to assist the Orcs. This can be a major pain as it will cover entire swaths of the battlefield with fire and catch you off guard. You can shoot it in the head when it tries firing to send it crashing to the ground - but it will be even more deadly to face as it whips back and forth making melee attacks unwise - unless you've built up might to perform an Execution on it. Keep attacking enemies as more arrive, there will be a lot of attacks to dodge in the chaos, so stay aware of what enemies are around you. As reinforcements arrive, so too will an enemy Warchief. Hang back a moment to figure out if it's weak or frightened of anything you can use to your advantage. You should also lure the Warchief away from the gate where continual Orcs spew forth from, and back towards your side where you'll have a more level playing field to take him out, or drain an Orc for health away from the main commotion.Once you defeat the Warchief, a cutscene will play as Talion enters the citadel to find the Palantir - but the Ringwraiths have gotten there first. When you regain control, you’ll have to fight eight of the nine Ringwraiths in a very intense duel. The Nazgul move slow, but can quickly teleport to you and attack. Watch for the counter prompt to block quick attacks from all the Nazgul when they attack in succession. Dodge when you see a magical attack when the Nazgul attack together. Wait until you have blocked or dodged all incoming attacks to return to being offensive. You can use executions to deal massive damage and set the Nazgul up for banishment. When you see a shade become broken, quickly run up and hit the prompt to banish it. Having less enemies around will make the fight easier, and as you keep banishing, the rest will become quicker to defeat. Keep banishing each Nazgul and you’ll trigger a long cutscene. When you regain control once again, follow Eltariel to Shelobs’s lair and watch another cutscene. Nurnen When you begin the next part of this mission, you’ll need to use your new power of domination to gain control of 10 archers without getting detected. Sneak around the area and dominate each of the archers marked on your map. Stick to the high ground, and carefully hop from one ruined structure to the next. Going along the left path and gradually moving from structure to structure will allow you to get all 10 archers under your command - and there will likely be a few extra Archers to either kill or also drain.Once you do this, you’ll be prompted to activate the orcs and have them start attacking other enemies.
