
Brazilian 3- banded armadillos are most famous as being the 2014 FIFA World cup mascot, but they are also amazing creatures with unique adaptations and backgrounds. They live mostly in North Eastern Brazil, have a diet of ants and termites, and use their powerful front legs to dig for food. These animals and in the vulnerable classification of conservation status and were thought to be extinct up until the early 1990's.
