The seventh edition of the annual art fair focused on the finest art from Southeast Asia. Art Stage Singapore 2017 also gave us a glimpse of the works amassed by private collectors. There was plenty of art for MNC World News' Chandni Vasandani to ogle over. Here are some highlights.
As one of Asia’s biggest art fairs, 2017’s line-up welcomed 131 exhibitors from 27 countries. And this being cash-rich Singapore, there were plenty of keen patrons in attendance: it’s been estimated that works fetched between $14,901 and $42,574.
Featured showcases hailed from places as far flung as Moscow to Mandaluyong, meaning there was plenty of work for our present snappers to sink their lenses into. Above, we’ve collated a little gallery of our own, which features some of the best postmodern, conceptual, and abstract works on display over the three-day event. Have a peruse, and let us know your favorites in the comments.
